This position is instrumental in helping individuals with developmental disabilities in a residential setting achieve their potential. Qualified Intellectual Disability Professionals (QIDPs) provide case management services for residents including coordinating individual service plans, meeting medical needs, communicating with families, and ensuring that residents are provided with high quality services. The QIDP advocates for each participant to ensure that each person is treated with dignity and respect, is given opportunities to exercise their individuality, and has access to explore opportunities of interest.
