22 per hour Department Description Cahill 4 at Cambridge Hospital is a locked, 18-bed psychiatric unit serving adults with chronic mental illness and addiction. Social workers are key part of a multidisciplinary team helping adults, age 19 and up, with acute and chronic behavioral health conditions such as schizophrenia, bi-polar and affective disorders, personality disorders, adjustment disorder, and substance use. Staff employ a sensory approach to de-escalating patients and a treatment regimen that includes DBT/CBT group therapy. Our treatment focus is on assessment, stabilization, and aftercare planning. Social workers on the team take the lead in ensuring comprehensive discharge plans. Summary Responsible for the evaluation and treatment of an assigned caseload of clients, providing a range of psychosocial care. Works at one or more service sites, under social work clinical supervision and administrative supervision at the service site or in the service line.
Other Information Qualifications/Education:
Current MA licensure as an Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW)
Work Experience:
