Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities:
The IIH Team Lead provides intensive behavioral and emotional services to children and their families within a community-based model; leads a 3-person team, with a maximum case load of 12 families, in providing such services and oversees the functioning of children with mental health diagnoses by conducting individual and family therapy, overseeing skill building activities, providing parenting education, intervening during a crisis, providing on-call coverage within the intensive in-home team, and monitoring symptoms of the child. The Team Lead will also respond appropriately, to crisis situations, develop person centered plans, receive and provide clinical feedback, lead and participate in the clinical direction of each case assigned, including designating the appropriate team member for each consumer in accordance with their specialized expertise; collaborate, coordinate and advocate with collateral agencies and natural supports in order to meet family and consumer needs in all domains. The Team Lead applies knowledge of child growth and development to intervention development. Services are provided in the client's home, school, and community settings.Job Duties include:
- Demonstrate the ability to work in and be a part of organizational and therapeutic teams
- May be requested to complete intake and transition packet for incoming consumers
- Meet required productivity by meeting scheduled sessions
- Meet required documentation requirements and standards
- Serve as a member of rotating on call function of IIH
- Demonstrate the ability to manage an assigned caseload and meet the direct care billable productivity expectations of the organization
- Demonstrate use of appropriate knowledge, skills, abilities, and judgement and provide therapeutic services that evidence quality, performance, and meet the needs of persons served to achieve positive outcomes
- Show knowledge and use of clinical process to achieve positive outcomes to include documentation, evaluation, assessment, service, treatment planning, intervention techniques, aftercare, and transition planning
- Documenting in the ICANotes system
Education and Experience Required:
1. A master's degree in Psychology, Social Work or closely related Human Services area. 2. One to Two years of professional work experience with the child mental health population. 3. Exceptional written, oral, interpersonal, and organizational skills. 4. High level proficiency in Microsoft Office- MS Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint. Or an equivalent combination of education and experience. $50,000/yr DOE- $2000 sign-on bonus paid quarterly over first year of employment
