The Outpatient Behavioral Health Clinician plays a vital role in this mission, offering evidence-based therapy and support to individuals and families across the lifespan. Responsibilities:
Provide psychotherapy to children, adolescents, and/or adults, including crisis intervention as needed. Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments and develop person-centered treatment plans aligned with best practices. Monitor patient progress and update treatment plans as clinically indicated. Deliver care that is safe, ethical, culturally responsive, trauma-informed, and aligned with evidence-based models. Coordinate care and referrals with community agencies, schools, and other behavioral health providers to support continuity of care. Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in compliance with organizational, regulatory, and payer standards. Participate in supervision (if applicable), case consultation, and departmental meetings. Engage in ongoing professional development, maintaining licensure and required continuing education. Other duties as assigned.
Other information:
Minimum Qualifications Master's degree or higher in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, Marriage & Family Therapy, or a related behavioral health field. Active North Carolina license as LCMHC, LCSW, LMFT, LCAS, and/or LP (full license required; provisionally licensed applicants may be considered based on program needs). Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Demonstrated training and experience in evidence-based psychotherapies. Strong organizational and communication skills. Commitment to ethical practice, cultural humility, and patient-centered care. Preferred Qualifications Two or more years of outpatient behavioral health experience. Experience providing therapy to diverse populations. Familiarity with electronic health records and documentation standards.
