Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Youth Services Clinician to join our dynamic mental health team. In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive behavioral health and therapeutic services to children, adolescents, and their families, fostering resilience and promoting positive development. Your expertise will help create a safe, supportive environment where youth can thrive through evidence-based practices, trauma-informed care, and culturally sensitive interventions. Responsibilities Conduct mental health assessments and diagnostic evaluations to identify individual needs and develop tailored treatment plans. Deliver individual, group, and family counseling sessions utilizing evidence-based practices such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, play therapy, art therapy, and trauma-specific interventions. Implement behavioral management strategies and crisis intervention techniques to support youth experiencing acute emotional or behavioral challenges. Collect and document clinical data accurately in compliance with HIPAA regulations and clinical ethical guidelines, maintaining detailed medical records and documentation of patient care. Collaborate with families, schools, and community agencies to coordinate case management efforts and ensure holistic support for clients. Utilize motivational interviewing and conflict management skills to foster engagement and promote positive behavioral change. Provide culturally sensitive counseling that respects diverse backgrounds while addressing gender issues counseling, developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), PTSD care, and other mental health conditions. Requirements Bachelor's or master's degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or a related field; licensure or certification preferred. Proven experience working with children and youth in mental health or behavioral health settings. Knowledge of home & community care practices along with experience in data collection for clinical purposes. Familiarity with medical terminology, clinical documentation standards, HIPAA compliance, and medical records management. Strong skills in child & family counseling, applied behavior analysis (ABA), crisis management, trauma-specific interventions, and evidence-based practices. Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds while demonstrating cultural diversity counseling skills. Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills for client engagement, intake procedures, case management, and working collaboratively with families and multidisciplinary teams. Pay:
$60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
