Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our dynamic mental health team. In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive mental health assessments, evidence-based psychotherapy, and crisis intervention services to diverse populations, including children, adolescents, adults, and seniors. Your expertise will help clients navigate complex emotional, behavioral, and psychological challenges within a supportive and collaborative environment. Responsibilities Conduct thorough mental health assessments and diagnostic evaluations utilizing clinical standards and medical terminology. Deliver individual therapy sessions employing evidence-based practices. Implement behavioral health interventions for clients with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, PTSD, substance use disorders, and other behavioral health conditions. Engage in crisis management and crisis intervention to ensure patient safety during acute episodes. Maintain accurate clinical documentation in electronic medical records (EMR/EHR) systems following HIPAA regulations and clinical documentation standards. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including medical social workers, psychiatrists, case managers, and community care providers to coordinate comprehensive patient care. Provide culturally competent care by working effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds across various settings such as hospitals, community clinics, and home environments. Experience Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) or Marriage & Family Therapy (MFT) from an accredited program; licensure as an LCSW or LMFT is required. Proven experience in psychotherapy with adolescents or adults. Demonstrated proficiency in mental health assessments, diagnostic evaluation using
ICD-10/ICD-9
coding systems, and treatment planning. Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems for documentation of patient care activities. Knowledge of crisis intervention techniques and crisis management protocols. Experience working within community care environments is preferred. Ability to work effectively with clients from diverse cultural backgrounds while adhering to clinical confidentiality policies.
