This position is ideal for a clinician who values collaboration, individualized care, and supporting clients through meaningful, lasting change. Primary Responsibilities Provide individual, family, and group therapy based on client and program needs Complete comprehensive clinical assessments and develop individualized treatment plans Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential clinical documentation Monitor client progress and update treatment goals as clinically appropriate Collaborate with therapists, registered dietitians, medical providers, and other members of the treatment team Participate in team consultations, supervision, and care-coordination meetings Communicate professionally with clients, families, referral sources, and outside providers Follow all ethical, legal, HIPAA, and organizational requirements Provide crisis assessment, safety planning, and appropriate referrals when needed Support continuity of care through discharge planning and coordination with other providers Qualifications Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related mental health field Current Illinois licensure as an LSW, LCSW, LPC, or LCPC At least 1-2 years of experience working as a therapist Experience treating eating disorders is strongly preferred Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary treatment team Commitment to providing compassionate, inclusive, and evidence-based care About KC Counseling KC Counseling is a multidisciplinary mental health practice specializing in eating disorders and co-occurring mental health concerns.
