Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Social Work Supervisee to join our behavioral health team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals pursuing licensure in social work, providing supervised clinical experience in a supportive environment. The successful candidate will engage in patient care, conduct assessments, and participate in various therapeutic modalities, including behavioral therapy, applied behavior analysis, and clinical counseling. Duties Conduct patient assessments and intake evaluations to determine individual needs and treatment plans. Provide individual and group counseling sessions utilizing evidence-based practices such as behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, and Christian counseling. Assist in developing and implementing treatment strategies tailored to diverse populations, including geriatrics and patients with aging issues. Document clinical encounters accurately within medical records, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and confidentiality standards. Support diagnostic evaluations and contribute to treatment planning for patients with complex mental health or behavioral health issues. Participate in supervision meetings to review case progress, refine clinical skills, and ensure adherence to professional standards. Engage in ongoing professional development related to social work, mental health counseling, and specialized therapeutic approaches. Qualifications Graduated from an accredited social work graduate program (MSW). Knowledge of behavioral health principles, including applied behavior analysis and behavioral therapy techniques. Experience or familiarity with patient care procedures, medical documentation, and medical terminology. Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations concerning patient privacy and data security. Demonstrated ability to perform comprehensive patient assessments and diagnostic evaluations. Excellent communication skills for effective individual and group counseling sessions. Commitment to ethical practice standards within social work and mental health counseling disciplines.
