The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment that promotes childhood development and learning. This role requires a genuine love for children, excellent communication skills, and the ability to adapt to each child's unique needs. Experience in early childhood education, daycare settings, or babysitting is highly valued. Duties Supervise and monitor children's activities to ensure safety at all times Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development Assist with daily routines including feeding, diapering, nap times, and hygiene Foster positive behavior management strategies to encourage good conduct Support children's emotional well-being through attentive caregiving and communication Maintain a clean and organized environment conducive to children's safety and comfort Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding child's progress and needs Provide first aid when necessary and handle minor injuries promptly and appropriately Collaborate with other caregivers or educators to support classroom or daycare activities Requirements Prior experience working with children in daycare, babysitting, nannying, or classroom settings Knowledge of childhood development principles and behavior management techniques Certification in first aid and CPR is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to obtain certification required Experience working with children with disabilities is a plus Familiarity with infant care, toddler care, preschool activities, and early childhood education practices Ability to handle multiple responsibilities with patience, compassion, and professionalism Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and team members Reliable transportation or ability to commute to the childcare location as required This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on children's lives while working in a supportive environment dedicated to fostering growth and learning.
