Real Life Preschool is looking for a dependable, energetic, and caring After-School Program Director to lead our afternoon program Monday-Friday. This is a great opportunity for someone who loves working with children, enjoys creating a fun and structured environment, and wants to be part of a growing Christian preschool community. Schedule Monday-Friday | 12:00 PM-5:00 PM Additional hours may be available based on school needs, events, and candidate availability. Responsibilities Oversee and lead our after-school program each afternoon Provide a safe, fun, and structured environment for children Supervise and engage children through age-appropriate activities, games, crafts, and play Help maintain classroom routines, cleanliness, and organization Communicate positively and professionally with parents and staff Assist with transitions, snack time, and afternoon pickup Ensure children are supervised and cared for according to Real Life Preschool policies and procedures Help create an encouraging environment where children feel welcomed, valued, and loved Assist with special events and additional preschool activities as needed Serve as a positive role model for children and staff Qualifications Experience working with children preferred Previous childcare, preschool, teaching, or after-school program experience is a plus Responsible, dependable, and punctual Positive attitude and strong communication skills Comfortable taking initiative and leading a group of children Must be able to pass required background checks CPR/First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain) A heart for children and a desire to serve families What We Offer Monday-Friday, 12 PM-5 PM schedule Opportunity for additional hours Some paid holidays A positive, supportive work environment Opportunity to grow with a brand-new, growing preschool program Meaningful work partnering with families and caring for children each day At Real Life Preschool, our motto is "Partnering with Parents."
