A Nanny or Babysitter provides care for children in their homes. Stays with children on a regular basis or for occasional day or evening times, or works full time; may live with a family.
This position operates on a seven-day-on and seven-day-off rotational schedule, working thirteen hours daily from 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM, with work weeks running Fridays through Thursdays. Candidates must be available for both domestic and international travel during all school breaks for trips lasting seven to eight days. Additionally, flexibility to work some holidays throughout the year is required.

Duties:
Primary responsibilities include providing engaging, active childcare, planning and prepping school lunches, making breakfast, and cooking for the children as needed. The Nanny will drive the children to activities and school using a provided vehicle, assist with homework, provide light housekeeping for child-related areas, run errands, purchase children's items, declutter children's spaces, and manage inventory including organizing and ordering children's clothes. This hybrid role requires Family Assistant support while the children are in school, which includes planning events such as children's birthday parties, along with secondary duties like general grocery shopping and washing dishes. The Nanny will actively engage with the children through physical play like soccer, tennis, tag, and swimming, while ensuring complete pool and ocean safety (confident swimmer required). During travel, the nanny will pack for the children, handle routine shifts, manage time zone adjustments, and handle the children's laundry. Staff communication, tracking notes, and documenting information using Google Docs and dedicated staff apps are required daily.
Requirements:
A minimum of five years of experience working in a private household as a nanny or family assistant is required, and previous teaching experience is considered a major plus. Candidates must hold a four-year college degree, though an Associate's degree or a degree in progress will be considered for candidates with strong, supportive professional experience. Applicants must be tech-savvy and comfortable utilizing mobile applications, email, text, and online documentation tools to coordinate within the household systems. The ideal candidate must be physically fit and active to navigate a three-level house with many stairs and comfortably keep up with energetic children in activities like running, swimming, and various sports. Candidates must be comfortable working closely with a hands-on, stay-at-home mother, displaying a warm, proactive demeanor, high discretion, and the ability to seamlessly step in and step out as needed in a formal, multi-staffed environment. A valid driver's license is mandatory, and candidates must possess a strong commitment to long-term dedication and loyalty. While vaccinations for Tdap, MMR, flu, and TB are preferred, they are not strictly required.
Salary range:
$155000 - $160000
Benefits:
The compensation package includes 100% employer-paid medical coverage for the employee, 50% medical coverage for dependents, full dental and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave. The nanny receives one week of paid vacation amounting to ninety-one hours, receives full pay on holidays when not scheduled to work, and is eligible for annual performance raises and bonuses. When traveling, the nanny is provided with private, dedicated room accommodations.
