The family's son has Autism Level 1 with motor differences and thrives with child-led guidance and positive support, while their younger daughter is developmentally advanced and eager to explore the world around her. The family is looking for a nanny who will become a trusted partner, helping both children reach important developmental milestones while maintaining a calm, organized, and positive household. Responsibilities include all child-related care, children's laundry, meal preparation, transportation to activities and appointments, maintaining tidy play areas, and pitching in with occasional errands to help the household run smoothly.
Required Skills:
Qualified candidates will have recent full-time nanny experience, including experience caring for toddlers and preschool-aged children, along with hands-on experience supporting children with Autism Spectrum Disorder or other developmental differences. The ideal nanny will understand how to encourage social interaction, foster independence, and support developmental growth through engaging, play-based activities while collaborating closely with parents and therapists. Candidates should be proactive, organized, and naturally maintain a clean and orderly environment by tidying children's spaces throughout the day. Strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to anticipate the family's needs are essential. A safe driving record is required, as the nanny will transport the children using a family vehicle. Comfort around dogs is necessary, and candidates who enjoy swimming and water activities are encouraged, as this would be a wonderful bonus for the family's active lifestyle.
