Headquartered in Dallas, Texas, Star Harbor Care is a boutique in-home childcare and adult companion care agency proudly serving families and employer partners throughout the San Jose area. We're expanding our California team and looking for caring, dependable professionals who are passionate about supporting children and giving parents peace of mind. Responsibilities Provide safe, nurturing, and engaging care for children of various ages. Travel to client homes throughout the San Jose area. Follow each family's routines, schedules, and care instructions. Plan age-appropriate activities, play, and learning opportunities. Prepare simple meals or snacks when requested. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment. Communicate professionally with families and the Star Harbor Care team. Arrive on time and provide dependable, high-quality care. We're looking for caregivers who: Genuinely love working with children and supporting families. Are warm, dependable, patient, and professional. Have previous experience as a nanny, babysitter, daycare teacher, preschool teacher, childcare provider, caregiver, or in a related role. Hold a current CPR and First Aid certification, or are willing to obtain one before starting. Prefer candidates already registered with Trust Line Have reliable transportation and are comfortable traveling to client homes. Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Can commit to keeping at least two consistent weekdays available for assignments. Want to grow with a small, founder-led company as we continue expanding. What We Offer $22.00-$28.00 per hour.
