$23-$25 per hour + overtime About the Job We are looking for reliable, caring, and experienced nannies to provide in-home childcare for infants and toddlers with local families in San Jose. This is a great opportunity for a childcare professional looking for consistent daytime hours, competitive pay, and the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with children and families. Responsibilities Provide safe, attentive, and nurturing care for infants and toddlers Follow feeding, nap, and daily routines Prepare and participate in age-appropriate activities, including reading and play Support children's learning, development, and daily needs Communicate professionally with parents about their child's day Maintain a clean, safe, and positive environment Follow family preferences and childcare instructions Schedule Monday-Friday availability preferred Shifts generally fall between 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM Typical shifts are 6-9 hours Hours vary based on family needs and your availability Opportunities for consistent full-time or part-time hours are available Qualifications At least 1 year of childcare experience Experience caring for infants and/or toddlers preferred Reliable and dependable Strong communication and interpersonal skills Professional and comfortable working in a family's home Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Able to provide at least 3 references: 2 childcare-related and 1 character reference Must be at least 18 years old Childcare experience can include nannying, babysitting, daycare, preschool, church nursery, or other professional or regular childcare settings.
