Job Description

Family Location:

Summary:
A bit about us: We are a small, loving family of three who values privacy, trust, integrity, and quality time together. We primarily work from home and appreciate a peaceful, well-run household. With a young baby and busy schedules, we are excited to welcome a nanny who can become a trusted part of our home and give us greater flexibility to enjoy time together as a couple and as a family. We also have a sweet and gentle Labrador Retriever, so comfort around dogs is important. Our 8-month-old daughter is an easy-going baby who smiles a lot! She's our first child, and we're delighted she is happy and healthy!
A bit about you:
You are loving, calm, warm, and deeply nurturing, with genuine enthusiasm for caring for infants. You are experienced, dependable, proactive, organized, and trustworthy. You are at ease flexing between a Nanny and Mother's Helper role with a stay-at-home mom. You take pride in creating a peaceful environment for both the baby and parents. You are flexible and comfortable going with the flow when plans shift, while still bringing thoughtful structure to the baby's day. Strong judgment, discretion, emotional warmth, and a holistic approach to everyday life will help you thrive with this family.
Job Duties:
The nanny's primary responsibility will be attentive daytime infant care, including supporting feeding and nap routines, preparing and washing bottles, stroller walks, age-appropriate developmental play, baby laundry, and keeping the nursery organized. During naps and other natural downtime, the family would appreciate help with light household tasks such as general tidying, loading and unloading the dishwasher, laundry (family laundry is appreciated, but negotiable), grocery shopping or errands when requested, and keeping shared spaces organized. The role may also include occasional coordination with household service providers such as cleaners, pool service, maintenance, or gardening. Occasional care for the family dog, including feeding and walks, is also appreciated.
Position Highlights:
  • Guaranteed 40 Hours per Week
  • Paid Time Off
  • Major Paid Holidays
  • Gas Mileage Reimbursement
  • No Cooking for Parents Required
  • Long-term Outlook (with potential to continue beyond one year)
Qualifications:
5-10 years of infant and toddler experience, some previous nanny experience, comfortable working in a home where Dad works remotely and Mom is a stay-at-home parent, comfort with dogs, willingness to: 1) assist with occasional pet care, 2) sign a work NDA, 3) take a drug screen if hired, 4) work when the child is mildly ill.
Set yourself apart:
A caregiver who brings extensive infant experience, strong household organization skills, and flexibility to work occasional Saturday evenings are all nice-to-haves. A valid passport and openness to occasional family travel would be appreciated, although travel is not required. A reliable vehicle is a plus but is not currently required for transporting the child.
