Hi there! We are a warm and adventurous family living on five ares across from an eight hundred acre preserve in Sherman, Connecticut. We are hoping to find someone who would love to spend time in this environment and help maintain a rhythm and beautiful childhood for our son, who is two and a half. I am a nurse finishing my training to become a Nurse Practitioner and we'll need three full days a week (Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday) with a few additional hours for studying another day from September through October. We are active, outdoorsy family and while we would love someone to join us on hikes or backpacking trips, this is not a requirement of the position. We do focus on outdoor play and warmth in our at home, but feel this could be accomplished with a caregiver who is not as inherently active themselves. For the right fit, this position could include some travel with our family to Florida for the following six weeks. A live-in position could be considered, even part time during the week. This may be ideal for a student who has recently graduated or someone who has retired and prefers the company of another family or more independent life for part of the week or is transitioning to living away from home.
