In this role, you will provide attentive childcare to a 2.5 year old, assist with homeschooling activities, and support daily household needs. Your enthusiasm for nurturing children's growth and your proactive approach will help create a positive, enriching environment for the children while ensuring their safety and well-being. Responsibilities Support homeschooling routines by assisting with lesson planning, educational activities, and age-appropriate learning exercises for child. Provide attentive childcare, including supervising playtime, engaging in creative activities, creating a fun learning environment, and fostering developmental milestones to curriculum. Assist with daily household tasks such as light cleaning, laundry, dishes, and organizing children's belongings to maintain an orderly home environment. Prepare nutritious meals and snacks tailored to children's dietary needs, including toddler-friendly options and meal prep for busy mornings or afternoons. Maintain open communication with parents about children's progress, daily activities, and any concerns that arise during the day. Mother works from home - assisting her with general house duties and child. Requirements Proven experience working with children across different age groups, including preschoolers and toddlers. Prior nannying or private home childcare experience is essential; experience with multiple children is highly valued. Knowledge of early childhood education principles and homeschooling support strategies. Certifications in First Aid and CPR are required; additional training in working with children with disabilities is a plus. Ability to perform light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and organizing household items efficiently. Reliable personal transportation, valid driver license, and clean driving record.
