Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Babysitter / in-home Daycare provider to create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children of various ages. This role offers an exciting opportunity to support families by providing exceptional childcare within a private home setting. The ideal candidate will bring enthusiasm, reliability, and a passion for fostering children's development through caring attention, educational activities, and household assistance. This paid position is perfect for someone who loves working with children and thrives in a dynamic, family-oriented environment. Duties Supervise and engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote learning, creativity, and social skills. Prepare nutritious meals and snacks tailored to children's dietary needs and preferences. Maintain a clean and organized living space by performing residential housekeeping tasks such as tidying up play areas, laundry, and general cleaning. Administer basic first aid and CPR when necessary, following safety protocols to ensure children's well-being. Support the overall household by helping with meal preparation, cleaning, and other light chores as needed to maintain a comfortable environment. Qualifications Proven experience working with children in roles such as babysitting, nannying, daycare assistance, or private home childcare. Demonstrated ability to care for infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and multiple children simultaneously. Certifications in first aid and CPR are required; additional training in working with children with disabilities is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of childcare best practices including infant care, toddler care, meal preparation, and preschool activities. Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is preferred.
