Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Nanny to provide exceptional care and support for a 1 year old child in a private home setting. This role involves nurturing, engaging, and ensuring the safety of children across various age groups, including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. The ideal candidate will bring a warm personality, proactive attitude, and a passion for child development. You will be responsible for creating a positive environment that promotes learning, creativity, and well-being while assisting with daily routines and household tasks. Full time hours could open up Responsibilities Provide attentive childcare to a 1 year old Prepare nutritious meals and snacks suitable for children's dietary requirements Engage with educational activities, playtime, reading, and age-appropriate learning experiences Assist with daily routines nap times, and diaper changes Maintain household cleanliness by performing residential housekeeping tasks related to children's spaces Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times; hold current First Aid and CPR certifications to respond effectively in emergencies Collaborate with parents to communicate daily updates on children's activities and well-being Skills Extensive experience working with children of various ages in nannying or childcare roles Strong knowledge of infant care practices including feeding, diapering, soothing techniques, and developmental milestones Certification in First Aid and CPR; ongoing commitment to safety training is highly valued
Pay:
$18.00 - $20.00 per hour
