This position begins with school pickup and continues through their afternoon and evening routine. We need someone who genuinely enjoys interacting with children, can prepare meals, keeps the home orderly while caring for them, and can consistently follow an established routine without needing daily reminders.

SCHEDULE

Monday through Friday3:45 PM until approximately 7:45/8:00 PM Regular availability and dependable attendance are essential.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Pick up both children from school safely and on time Transport them home and to occasional scheduled activities Prepare dinner and simple, healthy meals Pay attention to portions so enough food remains for school lunches and, when possible, a plate for Mom Help the girls complete their evening routine Sit with the girls for interactive reading time before bed rather than simply sending them to read alone Engage with the children through conversation, play, reading, and age-appropriate activities Wash, dry, and put away the dishes, including any dishes already in the sink Wipe down kitchen counters and clean the stove or toaster oven after use Sweep food and crumbs from the kitchen floor Leave the kitchen reset and orderly before the end of each shift Communicate any accidents, injuries, behavioral concerns, broken items, or other incidents to Mom before leaving Follow a simple written end-of-shift checklist consistently
