Full-Time Spanish Immersion Educational Nanny South Tampa, FL | Extensive Travel Required A warm, welcoming family is seeking an experienced Spanish Immersion Educational Nanny to join their home and become an integral part of their children's daily lives. This is a unique opportunity for a dedicated childcare professional who is passionate about education, child development, and bilingual learning. The family has school-aged children and is looking for someone who can naturally incorporate Spanish into everyday routines while supporting academic success, emotional development, and positive life skills. The ideal candidate will create engaging learning experiences, encourage curiosity and independence, and foster a nurturing, structured environment where the children can thrive. This role is based in South Tampa and includes frequent extended domestic and international travel throughout the year. Candidates should enjoy travel, adapt well to changing environments, and be excited about creating meaningful educational experiences both at home and while traveling. Schedule This position works within a collaborative two-nanny household. Monday-Friday Morning shift (6:30 AM-8:30 AM) rotates weekly between both nannies. Afternoon schedule is consistently 2:00 PM-7:00 PM. Flexibility for occasional additional hours is appreciated. Live-Out Position Live-in accommodations are provided while traveling or when parents are away. Support homework, educational enrichment, and school success. Plan engaging educational experiences that encourage creativity, critical thinking, and a love of learning. Foster confidence, independence, and strong social-emotional skills through positive guidance. Encourage healthy routines, organization, responsibility, and age-appropriate independence. Read daily with the children and facilitate hands-on activities, educational outings, and creative projects. Maintain open communication with parents regarding progress, routines, and developmental milestones. Assist with child-related household responsibilities, including children's meal preparation, organizing children's spaces, and occasional errands. Travel with the family and adapt educational activities to new environments while maintaining consistency and routine. Ideal Candidate We're seeking a professional who is warm, engaging, and highly collaborative while also confident working independently.
The ideal candidate will have:
Professional fluency in both Spanish and English. Bachelor's degree in Education, Child Development, Psychology, or a related field. At least three years of experience as an educational nanny, teacher, tutor, learning specialist, behavioral therapist, or in a similar role. A strong understanding of child development and positive behavior guidance. The ability to build meaningful relationships while maintaining structure and consistency. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Valid driver's license and passport. Strong swimming ability and confidence around water. Comfort working in a home with pets (two cats).
