Playroom Specialist Qurated Pilates Marietta, GA Job Details Part-time | Contract $15 - $20 an hour 3 hours ago Qualifications Customer communication First aid and CPR Full Job Description Playroom SpecialistPosition Overview At Qurated Pilates, we believe parents deserve time to care for themselves without worrying about the care of their little ones. As a Playroom Specialist, you'll help create a safe, engaging, and welcoming environment where children can play, explore, and feel cared for while their parent participates in class. This role is ideal for someone who genuinely enjoys working with children, communicates warmly with families, and takes pride in creating a positive experience for every child who enters the Playroom. This is a part-time position with weekday morning, evening, and weekend availability. Responsibilities Welcome children and families with a friendly, professional attitude. Safely supervise children ages 6 months through 10 years during Pilates classes. Lead age-appropriate activities including imaginative play, crafts, reading, sensory play, and games. Maintain active supervision while creating a calm, inclusive, and engaging environment. Verify Playroom reservations, waivers, child profiles, and daily intake forms during check-in. Confirm Playroom eligibility based on membership and Playroom Pass usage. Communicate with parents regarding any concerns, behavioral issues, illnesses, or emergencies. Contact parents promptly if a child requires personal care, feeding, diapering, or additional comfort. Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized Playroom throughout each shift. Disinfect toys, furniture, and high-touch surfaces between classes. Follow all Qurated Pilates Playroom policies and emergency procedures. Complete incident reports when necessary. Assist with opening and closing Playroom procedures. Help create a warm, welcoming environment that reflects the Qurated Pilates brand and values. Qualifications Experience working with infants and children preferred (childcare, preschool, nannying, camp counselor, education, etc.). Must enjoy working with children of various ages and developmental stages. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Patient, dependable, and attentive. Ability to remain calm and respond appropriately in a fast-paced environment. Comfortable using basic technology for check-in and attendance. CPR and First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain before employment). Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and actively engage with children on the floor. Preferred Qualifications CPR and Pediatric First Aid Certification Early Childhood Education coursework or degree Experience with children with varying developmental needs Previous experience in boutique fitness, childcare, or hospitality environments What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who understands that caring for children means caring for families.
