Hours:

Monday - Friday, 3:00 PM - 5:30 PM (Opportunity for extended hours on no-school days, as well as for curriculum and planning)

Pay:

$15.00 / hour

Plan and facilitate engaging activities such as arts and crafts, outdoor games, and youth activities that promote development and teamwork. Implement classroom management strategies to maintain a positive environment conducive to learning and fun. Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other staff to communicate children's progress and address any behavioral or developmental concerns. Maintain a clean, organized activity space while adhering to safety standards related to outdoor work experience and childcare environments. Skills Proven experience working with children in settings such as daycare, camps, youth programs, or babysitting roles. Strong classroom management skills combined with behavior management techniques to foster respectful interactions. Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education practices. Certifications in first aid, CPR, AED operation, and familiarity with first aid protocols are highly desirable. Ability to facilitate youth group activities, sports coaching, or outdoor work experiences that promote physical activity and teamwork. Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, parents, and team members effectively. Experience in special education or working with children who have unique learning or behavioral needs is a plus.

Pay:

$14.00 - $16.00 per hour
