Description:

A warm Jeffersonville family is seeking a full-time nanny beginning in early September. The schedule is Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Care will begin with their active 14-month-old son, and the family is expecting another baby boy in December. They hope to find someone who is excited to grow with their family and eventually care for both children. Their toddler loves books, walks, toys, and practicing new physical and communication skills. The family is looking for a warm, reliable nanny who enjoys developmentally appropriate play, simple crafts, and supporting early speech and movement through everyday interaction. Responsibilities will focus on the children and include preparing meals, cleaning up after meals and activities, children's laundry, keeping their room and play spaces tidy, and light tidying of the main living area when time allows. Two friendly Siamese cats also live in the home. The ideal nanny is communicative, experienced with young children, CPR certified, and looking for a long-term position. The family offers $22 to $27 per hour (+ pay increase when baby arrives), guaranteed hours, paid holidays, and paid vacations.
