Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Childcare Provider to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and a strong understanding of childhood development. This role involves caring for children of various ages, including infants and toddlers, in a safe and nurturing environment. The Childcare Provider will be responsible for creating engaging activities that promote learning and development while ensuring the well-being of each child. Responsibilities Provide attentive care to children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times. Develop and implement age-appropriate activities that foster learning and creativity. Assist with daily routines, including feeding, diapering, and nap times for infants and toddlers. Support children with disabilities by adapting activities to meet their individual needs. Maintain a clean and organized environment conducive to play and learning. Communicate effectively with parents regarding children's progress, behavior, and any concerns. Promote positive behavior management techniques to encourage social skills and emotional growth. Collaborate with other childcare staff to create a cohesive care approach. Requirements Experience working with children in various settings such as daycare, preschool, or as a nanny. Knowledge of early childhood education principles and childhood development milestones. First aid certification is preferred; willingness to obtain certification if not currently held. Strong skills in teaching, caregiving, and behavior management. Ability to provide infant care and toddler care with patience and understanding. Experience working with individuals with disabilities is a plus. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and team members. A genuine love for children and a commitment to fostering their growth in a supportive environment.
