Flexible schedule Health insurance Paid time off A sweet family in Wakefield is seeking a long-term, part-time or full time nanny/family assistant to support mom in caring for their 3 daughters ages 4 years, 2 years, and 1 month. The nanny will rarely have all three children as once. This is a wonderful opportunity for an experienced caregiver that is comfortable tag teaming with mom to balance both childcare and helping to keep the household running smoothly. Requirements At least 21 years old Non-smoker CPR / First Aid certified 3+ years of relevant childcare experience including infant experience Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and comfortable driving children if needed Responsibilities Providing attentive, loving care for the baby including feeding, diapering, and age-appropriate play Supporting the older children by planning engaging activities, experiences for the children Prepping meals/snacks Cleaning up after meals Possible preschool drop off/pick up (family car provided for on the job driving) Tidying and organizing playrooms, bedrooms and common children's areas (including rotating toys) Family Assistant Responsibilities Assisting with general household tasks during times when Mom is with the children, including family laundry, loading/unloading dishwasher, unpacking groceries, light meal prep, basic household organization, breaking down boxes for recycling, etc Taking initiative to notice what needs to be done and proactively supporting the household About the Family This is a welcoming family looking for someone who will be comfortable working as Mom's right hand. Dad works from home most days in a separate office, but also travels frequently for work so help with both childcare and household support is needed. When Mom is engaged with the children, the role will naturally shift toward family assistant responsibilities. Ideal Candidate The family is looking for someone who is collaborative and willing to jump in wherever needed. Someone who takes initiative and is proactive in identifying areas where they can be helpful is ideal for this role. Someone who enjoys spending time with a busy mom and has strong communication skills will do well in this role.Position Details Location:
Wakefield, MA Schedule:
Monday - Friday; The family has significant flexibility and is prioritizing finding the right long-term fit. Potential schedules include approximately 8:00am-2:00pm, 1:00pm-6:00pm, a combination of mornings and afternoons, or a more full-time 8:00am-4:00pm schedule. Approximately 25-40 hours per week depending on the mutually agreed-upon schedule. The family is open to some flexibility with the schedule for the right candidate.Hours:
