We are looking for caring, dependable, and enthusiastic individuals to join our early childhood team. This position serves students within Essexville-Hampton Public Schools; however, the selected candidate will be contracted through WillSub/PCMI. Essexville-Hampton Public Schools is not the employer of record for this position and does not administer compensation, benefits, payroll, or personnel matters related to the position. Qualifications Have a genuine love for working with children and maintain an upbeat, positive attitude. Prior experience working with children in daycare centers, preschools, babysitting, nannying or similar settings is highly preferred. Demonstrate the ability to build positive relationships and work cohesively with children, families, and coworkers. Be self-motivated, dependable, and responsible. Have experience with the fundamentals of child care and a willingness to continue learning and growing professionally. Be willing to follow all Michigan child care licensing rules and regulations. Work collaboratively with lead teachers and other staff members to complete daily activities and achieve program goals. Successfully complete a comprehensive background check. Be at least 18 years of age. Complete a TB test prior to employment. CPR and First Aid certification is recommended but not required.
