Job Description
Sprout Early Care & Preschool is a small business located located in Kalamazoo and Otsego, MI. We are social, fast-paced, fun, and our goal is to build a dynamic team by hiring fun, professional, nurturing teachers that will have a positive effect on the families and children we care for. Our center is open from 6:00am to 6:00pm, we are seeking full time candidates. Hours may vary due to needs of the center. As a center support teacher you will be subbing in classrooms when teachers are off or providing lunch breaks to team members throughout your shift. This is a great opportunity to work with the different age groups and get to know all throughout the center.

Requirements:
- CPR & First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to pass a background check
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues
- Ability to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports the well-being of all children & have a passion to work with children
- Possess a high school diploma
- Be able to kneel, squat, lift, bend, and carry children of various sizes and weights
- Have reliable transportation
- Ability to work at a fast pace
- Positive attitude and professional work ethic
