Job Description

Part-Time Nanny |
Upper Saddle River, NJ Location:
Upper Saddle River, NJ Schedule & Compensation $30-$33/hour, DOE Guaranteed 22 hours per week Start date: August 2026 (potentially earlier for the right candidate)
Schedule:
The family has flexibility to work with the candidate's schedule, as long as it's within general working hours between Monday - Thursday. Once a schedule is determined, the family would like to commit to that schedule on a consistent basis.
Benefits:
2 paid work weeks of PTO, 1 paid work week of sick time, major holidays off (if it falls in schedule), guaranteed hours

None About the Family Both children have previously been cared for exclusively by family. The parents are now looking to welcome a nanny they can trust to help their family navigate childcare and upcoming milestones. Reliability, cleanliness and proactive engagement with children are important for this role, and they are hoping to build a long-term relationship with the right caregiver. Responsibilities Provide attentive, engaging and nurturing care for 1 year old and infant (<1 year old) Create a calm, engaging, and developmentally supportive environment Plan age-appropriate activities that encourage learning and exploration Support daily routines and transitions Nap support Child related meal prep and cleaning Maintain organization and cleanliness related to the children Ideal Candidate/ Requirements Proven ability to care for infants under 1 years old and older, especially at the same time Strong organizational skills Demonstrated understanding of infant and early childhood milestones/development Genuine care-giving ability, with an active and engaging approach to nannying Dependable, punctual, and committed to consistency and cleanliness Values building trust and connection with parents Pediatric CPR certified (or willingness to obtain before start date) 2 Excellent references from paid childcare roles that can be contacted by the family Able to pass a background check (completed by the candidate, after being provided with a contingent offer) Up to date on relevant vaccinations and can provide documentation Paid, childcare experience, ideally in a private setting lasting at least 2+ years
Pay:
$30.00 - $33.00 per hour
