As soon as possible Position type: Temp-to-permanent A warm family in Yonkers is seeking a caring and reliable nanny for their 15-month-old son. The position will begin as temporary, with the possibility of becoming a permanent, long-term position depending on how the arrangement works for both the family and the nanny. Morning Responsibilities Arrive at 6:00 a.m. and care for the child once he wakes, usually between 6:30 and 7:00 a.m. Prepare and serve breakfast. Get him dressed and ready for daycare. Prepare his meals, snacks, bottles, and daycare belongings. Drive him to daycare in Scarsdale by approximately 8:45 a.m. Tidy the child's spaces and complete child-related laundry as needed. Every other Friday, take him to his 9:00 a.m. physical therapy appointment before daycare. Evening Responsibilities Pick up from daycare. Safely transport him home. Provide attentive care through the evening routine. Wash and prepare his food and drink containers for the following day. Restock and organize his diaper bag. Treat stains and manage child-related laundry as needed. Help keep his belongings and primary spaces organized. The family will provide their Volkswagen Atlas for transporting the child. Ideal Candidate The ideal nanny will: Have experience caring for infants and toddlers. Understand infant, newborn, and early-childhood development. Be warm, caring, gentle, patient, and attentive. Practice good hygiene and provide responsive, nurturing care. Respect the parents' preferences and follow their lead regarding their child's care. Be dependable, punctual, organized, and safety-conscious. Hold a valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Be comfortable driving an SUV. Provide strong professional references. Be willing to complete a background check. Have current CPR and First Aid certification or be willing to obtain it.
