Positions Available:
1. School Age/Floater 7:30am-12:30pm (requires DL) School Age teaching and transporting a few children in a Honda Pilot to their school in the morning. Then floating in the building to help with needs. 2. Floater/Closer 12:30pm-6:00pm Working to help with all building needs and help close the building. Will be able to alternate some afternoons to leave earlier if needed. Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Teacher to join our vibrant educational team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to inspire and nurture young learners, fostering their developmental growth through innovative teaching methods and personalized support. As a Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in creating a positive, engaging classroom environment that promotes literacy, numeracy, social-emotional skills, and overall childhood development. Your leadership will ensure that every child receives high-quality education tailored to their unique needs, especially those with developmental disabilities or special education requirements. This position is ideal for experienced educators eager to make a meaningful impact in early childhood education and special education settings. Responsibilities Develop and implement dynamic lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards, including literacy, math, behavioral health, and behavioral management strategies. Lead classroom activities that support early intervention and communication skills. Manage classroom behavior effectively through positive reinforcement and behavioral therapy techniques, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for all children. Mentor and supervise assistant teachers and support staff, fostering professional growth and teamwork within the classroom. Conduct ongoing assessments using standardized testing tools to monitor progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly. Maintain detailed documentation of student development, IEP goals, lesson plans, and classroom activities in compliance with educational standards. Qualifications Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and classroom management techniques. Familiarity with curriculum development for literacy, math, and library services tailored to diverse learners. Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with students, parents, colleagues.
