Up to $27/hour, paid through payroll

Long-term About the Position A warm family is seeking a dependable, engaging nanny to provide one-on-one care for their infant daughter. She is an active, curious baby who loves books, playtime, and exploring her surroundings and is quickly becoming more mobile. The family follows a flexible, child-led approach while maintaining predictable routines around wake windows, feeding, and sleep. Their daughter is formula-fed and primarily follows baby-led weaning , so previous experience or comfort with this approach is strongly preferred. Mom works from home in a separate area of the house and is patient-facing throughout the day, so the nanny should be comfortable taking full ownership of childcare during working hours. Schedule The position is 20 hours per week across two consistent weekdays , approximately 7:00 AM-5:00 PM . Tuesday/Thursday is preferred, but there is some flexibility in determining the two days for the right candidate. Fridays are not available. The family would like to establish a consistent weekly schedule but appreciates some flexibility as their family's needs may evolve over the next year. Responsibilities Providing attentive, developmentally appropriate infant care Engaging in reading, play, walks, outings, and age-appropriate activities Supporting developmental milestones as baby becomes increasingly mobile Preparing and offering bottles and age-appropriate foods Supporting baby-led weaning Maintaining established sleep, feeding, and wake-window routines Keeping parents updated on the day's activities, feeds, naps, and patterns Handling standard child-related tidying and care tasks Transporting the child to occasional outings and activities No general household or family-assistant responsibilities are currently required. Ideal Candidate The family is open to a nanny who is newer to the profession if they demonstrate maturity, reliability, and a genuine interest in toddler development. The ideal candidate will be nurturing, active, observant, and comfortable following the child's cues while maintaining a consistent routine.

Preferred qualifications include:

Toddler experience is a plus Experience or familiarity with baby-led weaning Current CPR/First Aid certification Comfortable driving with a child; family vehicle or nanny's vehicle may be used Physically comfortable navigating a three-story home and carrying an increasingly mobile infant Second-language fluency is a plus Flu vaccination preferred Comfortable completing a background check and drug screening The home is pet-free. Outings are encouraged, making this a great fit for someone who enjoys getting out of the house and providing an engaging, active day for a growing baby.
