Long-term About the Position A warm family in Wyoming is seeking a dependable, engaging nanny to provide care for their two daughters two days per week. The girls get along very well and have different but complementary personalities. Their 6-year-old is energetic, social, and creative; she loves crafts, music, playdates, picnics, and planning activities. Their 20-month-old is happy and fairly independent and loves being outdoors, playing with her water table, exploring nature, and animals. The family would love to find a nanny who genuinely enjoys planning activities and bringing some structure and creativity to the day. This is a great opportunity for someone looking for a consistent, long-term two-day-per-week position. Responsibilities Provide attentive, engaging care for both children Plan age-appropriate crafts, activities, outdoor play, and outings Assist with school pickup as needed; school is approximately a 10-minute walk from the home Prepare simple meals and snacks for the children Maintain the toddler's nap and daily routine Assist with children's laundry Keep children's spaces organized and reset toys, dishes, and activity areas before leaving Transport children to occasional outings once a trusting relationship has been established Ideal Candidate The family is looking for someone warm, reliable, active, and creative who enjoys keeping children engaged rather than simply supervising. A nanny who can provide structure while still allowing plenty of fun and flexibility would be an excellent fit. The family values clear boundaries, consistency, and talking children through expectations and consequences. With their toddler, they primarily use redirection. Candidates should have reliable transportation and be comfortable using their own vehicle for occasional outings. The family can provide additional car seats. Standard vaccinations appropriate for someone working in childcare are expected.
