GENERAL INFORMATION
This position will be part-time, as needed, not to exceed 29.5 hours per week, to provide support in classrooms for children from birth to 5 years of age. Aides in these positions will be paid on an . Preference is given to candidates with childcare experience or education and training in early childhood education.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES, Partial List:
1. To provide supervision for students. 2. To keep accurate records. 3. To work collaboratively with other staff members. To adapt to flexible situations.
QUALIFICATIONS, Partial List:
1. 1. Must be Highly Qualified
  • Possess a 2-year Associates Degree or 2 years of college credits (48 semester or 72 quarter hrs.
) OR passage of state paraprofessional standards exam (PARAPRO Test). 2. Valid Ohio Educational Aide Permit. 3. Must pass criminal background checks and pre-employment drug screening. 4. Collaborative and problem-solving skills.
