Chilcare Assisstant 2 Irvington Day Nursery Portland, OR Job Details Part-time | Full-time $24 - $29 an hour 2 hours ago Benefits Paid time off Professional development assistance Qualifications CPR Certification First Aid Certification Pediatric first aid Full Job Description Job Overview Assistant II duties will include engaging with children during a variety of activities, including art, music, play, reading, napping assistance, meal preparation, outdoor activities, diapering, and changing clothes. Direct and indirect supervision of one or two Assistant I childcare providers. Requirements before Hiring Be at least 18 years of age. Registration in the Oregon Central Background Registry through the Department Of Early Learning. Have current CPR certification in first aid and pediatric CPR. Clock hours specific to infant and toddler care. Why you'll love working at our center: Irvington Day Nursery is located in a cozy and light-filled new home in the Irvington neighborhood. There is an excellent caregiver to child ratio. 5-6 caregivers to 12 infants/toddlers. We operate as a team. We have daily systems in place for everyone to follow to keep the momentum for our days together. Everyone is a valuable member and expected to participate as much as possible. As a new team member we will do our best to help you acclimate as quickly as possible.
