JOB DUTIES

Maintain a high standard in personal conduct, appearance and language. Follow school policy in regard to philosophy and practice. Health and Safety Be aware at all times of the safety of the children. If an accident occurs, notify supervisor and prepare an accident report form for notification of parents. Monitor children for signs of illness, injury or suspected abuse /neglect and report concerns to supervisor Supervise children during indoor and outdoor play periods. Monitor the safety conditions of the space and report any safety hazards. Review the school's Emergency Operations Plan and all safety procedures and participate in monthly drill procedures and related trainings. Participate in certification programs for Emergency First Aid, CPR, and Fire Safety as required.

Classroom / Child

Care Environment Establish and maintain a clean, orderly and safe physical environment Select nutritious snacks and other food prep activities following school guidelines. Prepare and maintain supplies and materials used in the child care room. Staff Development and Communication Keep supervisor informed of any issues related to children, parents, and staff
