General Position Description The Food Service Staff assists in food preparation and serves meals and snacks to center children and staff. The Food Service Staff assists in the maintenance, cleanliness, inventory and safety of the kitchen. Helps plan menus in accordance with nutritional guidelines and food restrictions. Prepare, cook and deliver meals. Wash Dishes Clean and maintain the hygiene and safety of the kitchen in accordance with state licensing requirements. Assist in ordering food and related supplies to ensure a well-stocked kitchen. Follow all center policies and state regulations. Additional Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required 1

•2 years of professional experience in food service; preferably in childcare or institutional setting. Basic math skills for measuring and portioning. Must clear a full background check. Must pass health screening. Educational Requirements HS diploma Physical Requirements Ability to lift 40 lbs. Stand for long periods of time. Employment Type Full Time Wage Range $15
