Monday-Friday, 2:00 PM-6:15
PM Summer Hours:
7:30 AM-4:30 PM
REQUIREMENTS
Must be 21 years or older with a high school diploma or equivalent
Summer Camp:
Must be 18 years old Must pass a criminal background check Valid driver's license with a clean driving record First Aid/CPR certification strongly preferred Must be drug-free Reliable and punctual; communicates clearly when absent or running late Physically active — able to move and play with children throughout the day Excellent communication skills to interact with children, staff, and parents Positive references verifying reliability and character Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as on a team
RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervise and ensure the safety and well-being of all children in your care • Ability to maintain appropriate boundaries and positive relationships with children Meet children's daily needs, including snacks, restroom, and craft/homework support Engage in positive and age-appropriate play and conversation with children Encourage confidence, self-esteem, and social skills through active engagement Maintain behavioral expectations and model respectful communication Report developmental, behavioral, or safety concerns to supervisors Support with daily cleaning and organizational tasks to maintain a safe environment
ADDITIONAL ROLE FOR THE AFTERSCHOOL PROGRAM
BUS DRIVER (no CDL require) This role may include additional responsibilities for candidates qualified to transport children.
Hours:
Approximately 1:45 PM-6:15 PM Duties include: Safely transport children from school to the facility following all traffic laws Maintain a calm, positive, and structured atmosphere during transport Ensure children board and exit the vehicle safely Maintain a clean, safe, and mechanically sound vehicle interior Notify appropriate staff if a child is absent, delayed, or displaying behavioral issues Adjust temperature, noise level, and seating to maintain a comfortable environment Additional Requirements for
Bus Drivers:
Must be 21 years or older with a high school diploma or equivalent Clean driving and criminal record Demonstrated responsibility, dependability, and professionalism
Pay:
$10.00 - $16.00 per hour
