Juliana Colombo has one opening available for the position of Nanny with the following qualifications: Must have a valid drivers license, pass a background check and drug screening. Typical hours are Monday and Friday from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM; Tuesday through Thursday from 6:30 AM to 7:30 AM and 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM; and two Saturdays per month from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM. CPR/First Aid Certification and Advanced Childcare Training Required. Job duties for the position include: Care for children and provide support to parents in satisfying childrens physical, emotional, intellectual and social needs. Perform housekeeping and cleaning duties related to childrens care including laundry, loading dishwasher, play areas and rooms after children. Plan, prepare, and serve healthy meals and snacks based on childrens dietary restrictions. Transport children to and from school, medical appointments or extra-curricular activities and support them in practicing skills or preparing for upcoming sessions. Organize and facilitate age-appropriate educational and recreational activities. Model and encourage appropriate social behaviors and interpersonal skills. Assist children with homework, reading assignments and school projects. Help children stay on tasks and focus during homework, chores and daily routine. Help children establish and maintain daily routines, including meals, after-school activities, and bedtime. Supervise children during indoor and outdoor activities to ensure safety. Establish and maintain schedules that support structure, independence and responsibility. Assist children with the care of family pets, including feeding, providing fresh water, and helping with walks or outdoor time. Recognize signs of sensory overload or emotional dysregulation and respond with calm support strategies and help maintain a calm, low-stimulation environment when needed. Observe childrens behavior and developmental progress and communicate updates and concerns to parents.
