We believe every child deserves a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where they can learn, discover, and thrive. We are seeking an experienced, dependable, and passionate Director to lead our team, oversee daily operations, and help continue building a center known for excellence. Position Overview The Director is responsible for the overall success of the center, including leadership, staff development, licensing compliance, enrollment growth, family engagement, and creating a positive culture for children and employees. This position requires someone who leads with integrity, communicates effectively, and enjoys building strong teams. Responsibilities Oversee the daily operations of the childcare center. Lead, coach, mentor, and evaluate teaching staff. Ensure full compliance with Texas Child Care Licensing regulations and center policies. Manage classroom ratios, staffing schedules, and daily operations. Foster positive relationships with children, families, and staff. Support enrollment, family tours, and parent communication. Maintain licensing records, employee files, and required documentation. Promote a positive, professional, and team-oriented work environment. Assist in hiring, onboarding, and training new employees. Step into classrooms when needed to support children and staff. Collaborate with ownership to achieve enrollment, quality, and operational goals. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required (Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred). Minimum of two years of experience in a licensed childcare center. Previous leadership or management experience preferred. Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. CPR/First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain). Must meet all Texas Child Care Licensing requirements. Texas Child Care Director Credential preferred or willingness to obtain. The Ideal Candidate Passionate about early childhood education. Leads with professionalism, accountability, and integrity. Excellent at building relationships with families and staff. Organized, dependable, and solution-oriented. Comfortable making decisions and leading a team. Dedicated to providing a safe, positive, and engaging environment for every child. Education High School Diploma or GED (Required)
