Open Until Filled Employment Opportunity The Orem Recreation Department is currently hiring for Child Care Attendants. This is a part-time, non-benefited position at the Orem Fitness Center, responsible for the care of patrons' children while they are using the Orem Fitness Center. Duties may also include storytelling, arts and crafts, game time activities, and collecting child care fees. Qualifications This position requires the ability to deal politely and efficiently with the public, to enforce rules with children and adults, and settle disputes. Must be 18 years of age or older. The ideal candidate will enjoy and desire to work with children. Patience is necessary. The successful candidate will be required to pass a pre-employment drug screen and a criminal background investigation. Pay and Benefits Begins at $10.20 per hour. Schedule M-F Morning shift availability from 7:30 am to 12:30 pm and/or M-F evening shift availability 3:40pm - 9pm with occasional Saturday availabity 8am - 12pm Application Process Those interested in applying should submit their application online.
