Part-time Childcare Assosciate Powerful Moms Who Care Salt Lake City, UT Job Details Part-time $50 - $150 a day 1 day ago Qualifications Behavior management CPR Certification Experience working with individuals with disabilities First Aid Certification Performing background checks First aid and CPR Full Job Description Overview Powerul Moms Who Care is a non-profit grassroots group that supports low-income moms seeking justice on issues that impact them, like housing, childcare, healthcare, and transportation. We are hiring a Part-time Childcare Associate for our monthly meetings and events. This is a really sweet side job. We will need you for 2-3 events a month. Typically from 5-9 pm, with a possible Saturday every few months. In this dynamic role, you will provide attentive supervision, nurturing care, and engaging activities that keep the children safe and in a positive environment for a few hours. Must be able to pass a background check and have your own transportation. References are required. Responsibilities Supervise children during various activities, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times. Follow all mandated reporting laws to ensure children's safety and report any concerns promptly. Experience Prior experience working with children in daycare centers, preschools, or similar settings is highly desirable. Certification in first aid, CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation), and pediatric first aid required or obtainable upon hire. Classroom management skills to create a nurturing yet structured environment. Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is a strong plus. Familiarity with mandated reporting laws and child safety protocols. Previous nannying or babysitting experience demonstrating responsibility and child supervision skills.
Pay:
$50.00 - $150.00 per day
