Location:
Kirkland and Bellevue, WA. The child is cared for between two households, and the nanny must be comfortable working at both homes according to the shared parenting schedule.
Ideal Start Date:
September 7, 2026. The family is flexible with timing for the ideal candidate.
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 4:00-8:00 p.m., with 20 guaranteed paid hours each week. Occasional later evenings or weekend hours may be requested with advance notice and based on the nanny's availability.

Compensation:
$30.00-$35.00/hour DOE. The family is open to adjusting compensation for an exceptional candidate. The position also includes 20 guaranteed hours per week, paid time off, accrued paid sick leave, paid federal holidays, a discretionary annual performance bonus, and mileage reimbursement for all required work-related driving.
Length of Position:

He is curious, creative, sensitive, caring, and fun-loving. He enjoys LEGO, hands-on building projects, 3D printing, reading, active play, exploring new interests, and connecting with friends. He has no known allergies or medical or developmental considerations. The family's parenting approach centers on providing a loving and supportive environment while helping their son become confident, independent, thoughtful, kind, and responsible. They encourage curiosity, creativity, exploration, and learning through play and even mistakes. At the same time, they value clear boundaries, consistency, and adults who listen carefully and respond to their son as an individual. Personality fit is the family's highest priority. They hope to find someone who genuinely connects with their son, enjoys his energy, and brings ideas for projects, activities, reading, outings, and play. The ideal nanny will be patient and adaptable while confidently providing calm structure and appropriate boundaries. The child is cared for between his parents' homes in Kirkland and Bellevue. A parent works from home only occasionally, and the nanny will have separate space with the child. The Kirkland household includes one friendly Shih Tzu. Parking is available, and the home is accessible by public transportation. The Job Description This is primarily a professional nanny position with limited child-related household support, not a broad household management role. The family is looking for someone who will do more than supervise and transport their son. The nanny will be responsible for providing a safe, structured, engaging, and supportive environment throughout the afternoon and evening. This includes school pickup, transportation to activities, homework support, meal preparation, and helping the child maintain a productive routine. A central part of the position will be proactively planning enriching activities and experiences based on the child's interests.
