Job Description
Overview Join our family as a Respite Care Child Specialist, dedicated to providing compassionate, engaging, and supportive care to child with and the Autism spectrum, verbal, no behaviors, in his home. This is a 1:1 position, no agency! Schedule
- 30+ hours a week! Monday and Tuesday
- Between 8:30am
- 8pm. Will work out a flexible schedule within these times. Wednesday-Friday
- Between 1pm to 8pm. Will work out a schedule within in these times. Saturday and Sunday
- Flexible Wage
- $17.97/hr Responsibilities Provide attentive, personalized care to child on the Autism spectrum. Ability to attend weekends get-a-ways with family as needed
- Room and board covered! Engage child in age-appropriate activities
- legos, fishing, dirt bike, country setting living!
- Required Certifications such as First Aid and CPR are required; additional training in caregiving or child development is a plus CNA certified
- higly preferred Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with families and other team members Reliable, energetic, and committed to creating a positive environment for children during the summer months Must be trustworthy and maintain families privacy
