<-- Read the full Leadership Profile or apply Live Oaks Community Church is seeking a strategic and relational Executive Director of Discipleship & Teaching (Director of Engagement) to help people take meaningful next steps in their faith and become fully engaged in the life of the church. Serving on the Senior Leadership Team , this leader will oversee the church s Discipleship Pathway , manage a team of direct reports, provide leadership to a thriving small group ministry with 900 people across 70+ groups, and teach approximately 50% of the year as part of the Teaching Team.
Your Core Competencies:
Leading through teams, systems, and ministry leaders. Strengthening a clear Discipleship Pathway consisting of four six-to-eight-week sessions. Developing healthy, multiplying small groups during the October-April ministry season. Providing expositional teaching and preaching across three campuses. Guiding change with wisdom, clarity, and relational trust. More than 2,000 people call Live Oaks home, with an average weekly attendance of 1,500 across its campuses in The Villages, Florida-one of the nation s most unique and vibrant communities.
