Job Description

First Baptist Church of Gillette is a Southern Baptist Church located in Palmetto, Florida,serving a rapidly growing community in northern Manatee County. With more than30,000 homes approved or planned north of the Manatee River, our church has excitingopportunities ahead for evangelism, discipleship, and community outreach. The OpportunityWith an average Sunday morning attendance of 250-300, FBC Gillette is prayerfullyseeking a Senior Pastor who is dedicated to leading God's church through:

Biblical Preaching and Teaching Leadership Development Vision Casting Community Outreach Required Qualifications:

Meet the scriptural qualifications for pastoral ministry as outlined in 1 Timothy 3and Titus 1. Preferred Qualifications Ordained Pastor. At least 5 years of pastoral ministry experience. Seminary graduate with a Master of Divinity (M.Div.), preferably from an SBCseminary.
