  • Full-time Overview Join our compassionate team as a Hospice Chaplain, where you will provide spiritual support, comfort, and guidance to patients facing end-of-life journeys and their families.
This vital role combines heartfelt ministry with professional care, ensuring that emotional and spiritual needs are met with sensitivity and respect. As a Hospice Chaplain, you will serve as a beacon of hope, offering solace through spiritual counseling, crisis intervention, and compassionate presence during life's most vulnerable moments. Your leadership in spiritual care will foster peace, understanding, and resilience within our hospice community. Duties Deliver spiritual support and counseling tailored to individual patient needs, respecting diverse faith backgrounds and beliefs Conduct regular visits to patients' homes or care facilities to provide comfort, prayer, and emotional reassurance Facilitate bereavement support groups and educational sessions for families and caregivers to help them navigate grief and loss Lead community outreach initiatives, including public speaking engagements and educational presentations on hospice care and spiritual well-being Develop and implement personalized spiritual care plans in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient quality of life Provide crisis intervention during emergencies or emotional distress, offering immediate spiritual guidance and support Mentor and train staff members on effective communication, conflict management, spiritual counseling techniques, and crisis management strategies Qualifications Proven experience in hospice care or related healthcare settings with a focus on spiritual support Strong background in bereavement support, crisis intervention, and spiritual counseling Excellent communication skills with the ability to deliver engaging presentations and facilitate group discussions Demonstrated leadership abilities in mentoring staff or volunteers within a healthcare or community setting Exceptional writing skills for documentation, reports, and educational materials Skilled in event planning for community outreach programs or support groups Ability to manage conflicts effectively while maintaining a compassionate approach during crises or sensitive situations Join us in making a meaningful difference by providing compassionate spiritual care that enriches lives during their most profound moments.
