- Responsible for assessing spiritual needs, provides spiritual care and pastoral counseling to patients/families/employees.
- The fundamental function of the Chaplain Associate is to make tangible the presence of God as he/she provides pastoral ministry in the health care setting.
- The Chaplain Associate assists individuals with spiritual and emotional integration of their current health crisis and brining a positive outcome . Principal Accountabilities

High School diploma or equivalentII:
Associate's degree preferred- Pursuit of Bachelor's Degree and Clinical Pastoral Education expected. Licenses and Certification
- Licensed or Commissioned to Ministry by Church optional.
- Ordination optional
- Endorsement by local church, diocese, or denomination within 2 years. Experience and Skills
Technical Experience:
1 year Physical Activities- Intermittent hand manipulation required
- Intermittent lifting and carrying of 20 pounds Role Specific Responsibilities o Assesses, provides, and documents pastoral care to the patients, families and staff daily.
