Job Description

The Second Twelve Mile Baptist Church, Butler, Kentucky is seeking a Lead Pastor to serve as our primary spiritual and visionary leader. To preach the Gospel, lead the congregation, help to strengthen the church body, and serve the community with love. This position could start out as part-time leading to full-time. Qualifications

  • Prayerful with a servant heart attitude The Lead Pastor is responsible for providing biblical preaching, pastoral care and leadership to the congregation and community.
He would help the church grow through outreach, discipleship, visitation and ministry. The Lead Pastor would prepare and deliver Biblical sermons weekly; Lead worship services, prayer services, attend deacons' meetings and communion. Provide guidance and counseling when needed. Maintain confidentiality and integrity setting a Christ like example. The Lead Pastor will work along side deacons, staff, teachers and volunteers. He will support community missions and those overseas. Objective
