Job Description

Position Summary:
Lead the large group programming team to provide a safe and engaging environment for kids to worship and grow in God's word together.
Essential Position Responsibilities:
Lead the morning rehearsal for storytellers, worship leaders and techs. Develop and maintain strong relationships with the Southland Kids Pastor, large group programming team and Weekend Groups staff for your environment. Participate in pre-service staff huddles to build team community and prepare for Sunday. Collaborate with the Weekend Groups staff to manage time for the overall program and check-in and checkout. Provide constructive feedback for programming volunteers during rehearsal and between services to create the most engaging program possible for kids. Work with the large group team to create a fun and inviting atmosphere for leaders and families. Teach or lead worship or tech as needed. Oversee the check-out process at the end of service. Work with the volunteer team to make sure all safety processes are being followed, including restroom security, special check-outs, etc. Coach and encourage volunteers to help them grow in their role and bring out their best. Lead in other Children's environments as needed. Participate in the life of the Nicholasville campus and support the campus team as needed. Answer parent questions and look for opportunities to minister to and encourage families. Assist Weekend Groups staff and volunteers during Small Group time with discipline issues or other areas as needed. Help with special events as needed.
